Scene VI · Questions

The practical bits.

A candlelit table setting
IWhat does venue hire include?

Exclusive use of the house and grounds, every room we've listed, tables and tableware, candles, your events manager, the bridal suite and, on Saturdays, rooms for 24 guests.

IIHow does catering work?

Our own kitchen cooks everything on site. Menus start at £95 a guest including a drinks reception, a three-course dinner and an evening buffet.

IIIHow do we secure a date?

A viewing, then a provisional hold for 14 days while you decide. A deposit of 25 percent confirms the date, with the balance due eight weeks before.

IVCan we have a smaller wedding?

Yes. Midweek weddings in winter suit 30 to 60 guests beautifully, with dinner in the Library and dancing in the Great Hall.
